Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced site engineer/infrastructure assistant to oversee civil infrastructure projects on site in palm oil-based environments. You will monitor on-site activities, prepare progress reports, and develop progress claims (BAPP/BAST) to match actual site progress.

The role requires a minimum diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years in similar settings. You will support estate operations, CSR, and sustainability initiatives while ensuring timely, quality

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as site engineer or infrastructure assistant in palm oil-based companies.
• Technical competency in civil/construction/structural disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing infrastructure projects and exploring new business opportunities.
• Monitor on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
• Develop bi-weekly project progress reports.
• Develop work progress claim documents (BAPP, BAST) and ensure claimed progress matches actual site progress.
• Ensure site and access road preparation is completed before contract award; provide technical support for estate operations and CSR/sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to manage infrastructure projects and to explore new business opportunities
• Monitor and supervise Infrastructure project activities on site, and ensure that the projects can be completed within the agreed timeline and quality requirements
• Evaluate and develop project progress reports on a bi-weekly basis
• Responsible for developing work progress claim documents (BAPP, BAST) and ensuring the claimed progress is according to the actual progress on site
• Ensure that the preparation of project site as well as the access road is completed before contract is awarded
• Provide technical support for Estate Operations related to Infrastructure items (road, housing maintenance, inspections etc) as well as CSR and sustainability

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as site engineer or Infrastructure Assistant in Palm Oil-based companies
• Technical Competency: Civil/Construction/Structural
