Job summary

Ennovi seeks an Automation Engineer to join our Industrial Business Segment in Batam. You will work hands-on to support, commission, troubleshoot, and optimize vision-based assembly and inspection stations integrated with PLC-controlled automation equipment.

This execution-focused role emphasizes production support, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities spanning vision systems, PLC interfaces, sensors, and automation controls to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

Diploma/degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering.
3–6 years hands-on experience with industrial vision systems in manufacturing.
Experience with vision platforms (Hikvision, Cognex, Keyence, Omron, Basler, Sick, etc.).
Exposure to ISO 13485 and working in medical/regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Support production equipment across shifts to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine breakdowns promptly.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; support robot, vision, PLC, sensors and automation controls.
Configure machine parameters, backups and restorations; assist NPI and process optimization.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering and suppliers for issue resolution.
Monitor equipment performance and contribute to OEE improvements.
Interface vision systems with PLCs for triggering, pass/fail handling and rejects.
