Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Service Sales Engineer to bridge field service and sales for industrial refrigeration systems. You will engage with customers to assess plant conditions, shape service proposals, and support maintenance, warranty, and performance guarantees.

Role requires experience in industrial refrigeration, field service practices, and the ability to read P&IDs/SLDs. Travel to customer sites is expected to deliver practical, end-to-end service solutions.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or degree-equivalent in mechanical engineering, refrigeration, HVAC, or related field.
• Experience in industrial refrigeration service, service sales, or troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, controls, and field service practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain customer relationships by understanding service needs and asset goals.
• Identify service opportunities through site visits and technical discussions.
• Prepare and support proposals for service, maintenance, commissioning, and warranty activities.
• Collaborate with sales to develop performance guarantees for products.
• Coordinate with internal teams to scope work and ensure smooth handover from sale to execution.
• Translate field findings into clear customer reports and actionable recommendations.
• Support on-site service activities and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
