Job summary

PT. Alcotraindo Batam is seeking a Mechanical Technician to inspect, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment. You will diagnose malfunctions, read blueprints, and perform component replacements to ensure optimal performance.

This role requires a minimum of senior high school and at least 5 years of relevant experience in tobacco manufacturing machinery, with strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills; willingness to work outside standard hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum Senior high school education.
• At least 5 years' experience as a Technician in tobacco manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, installations, maintenance and repairs.
• Able to read technical drawings and machine manuals.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willing to work outside business hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a technician to inspect, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform component replacements as needed.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide maintenance work.
• Plan and execute maintenance tasks and track work orders.
