Job summary

AkzoNobel in Indonesia seeks an Engineering Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, support installation and modification projects, and ensure compliance with LOTOTO, Permit to Work, and EHS standards.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, with educational background in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience as Engineering Technician in manufacturing.
Experience in chemical, paint, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or process manufacturing preferred.
SMK/ Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering required.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic instrumentation failures.
Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
Execute maintenance in accordance with LOTOTO, Permit to Work, and HSE requirements.
Support engineering projects and contractor supervision.
Maintain maintenance documentation and update work orders in the system.
Assist in emergency breakdown response and minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements.
