Korindo Group seeks a seasoned Farm Operations Manager to lead an indoor vertical farming operation in Jakarta, aiming to meet production, quality and productivity targets.
You will plan and supervise crop cultivation from planting to harvest, manage hydroponic and controlled environment systems, nutrition, irrigation and staff, while upholding SOPs, food safety and HSE standards. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture with 7+ years of leadership in greenhouse/CEA or vertical farming is required.
Manage overall farm operations and daily production activities within an indoor vertical farming system to achieve production, quality and productivity targets. Plan and oversee crop cultivation from planting through harvesting, including crop health, irrigation, fertigation, nutrition and crop maintenance. Manage hydroponic and controlled environment systems, including temperature, humidity, lighting CO2, irrigation and nutrient parameters.
Key responsibilities
Manage overall farm operations and daily production activities within an indoor vertical farming system to achieve production, quality and productivity targets
Plan and oversee crop cultivation from planting through harvesting, including crop health, irrigation, fertigation, nutrition and crop maintenance
Manage hydroponic and controlled environment systems, including temperature, humidity, lighting CO2, irrigation and nutrient parameters
Lead, train and manage cultivation teams, including manpower planning, work allocation, performance monitoring and daily farm activities
Ensure farm operations comply with SOP's, food safety, hygiene, HSE Standards and support continuous improvement and R&D activities
About you
Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Protection or related agricultural/scientific fields
Minimum 7 years of experience in agriculture, crop production, horticulture, greenhouse farming, hydroponics, indoor vertical farming or controlled environment agriculture (CEA)
Experience managing and developing cultivation or production teams
Experience in strawberry cultivation, greenhouse, CEA, or indoor vertical farming is highly preferred
