Job summary

Mercor is seeking Indonesian Language Specialists for a fully remote contract role. You will evaluate the quality of LLM-generated Indonesian text across translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar tasks, and edit content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.

You will annotate Indonesian text for grammatical and semantic features, identify language gaps, and collaborate with AI researchers to improve model performance.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Indonesian with strong grammar and stylistics.
• Experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work in Indonesian.
• Strong understanding of linguistic nuances, regional variations, and context-appropriate usage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors or unnatural phrasing.
• Clear communication skills and experience working in distributed, remote teams.

Position: Indonesian Linguistic Experts
Type: Contract
Compensation: $30/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate the quality and accuracy of LLM-generated Indonesian text across various use cases such as translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar correction.
• Edit, refine, or rewrite Indonesian content to meet linguistic and cultural standards.
• Annotate Indonesian text for grammatical, syntactic, and semantic features to enhance model understanding.
• Identify model errors and language gaps, collaborating with AI researchers to improve LLM performance.
• Provide detailed linguistic feedback and analysis to guide ongoing model training efforts.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have
