Alignerr is seeking Indonesian Language Experts for AI training to review and improve Indonesian-language content used to train AI systems. You will assess translations, identify issues in naturalness and culture, and provide clear feedback to improve accuracy across registers.

This fully remote, hourly contract offers flexible hours and the chance to shape how AI understands and communicates in Indonesian for global users. No prior AI experience is required.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to native and near-native Indonesian speakers who take pride in their language and want to do meaningful, well-compensated work on their own schedule.

What You'll Do

• Review AI-generated Indonesian translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, or cultural issues
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Indonesian
• Provide structured feedback on linguistic and cultural quality
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Indonesian
• Strong written communication skills in both Indonesian and English
• Solid command of contemporary Indonesian usage across different registers and contexts
• Comfortable evaluating written language quality at scale
• Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, thorough approach
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
• Familiarity with AI or language evaluation workflows
• Awareness of regional Indonesian language variations and dialects
• Background in writing, journalism, or communications
