Manulife is seeking a qualified accounting/finance professional to manage IFRS 17/PSAK 117 reporting, reconciliations, and controls. The role requires collaboration with actuarial, regional teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate financial statements.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in accounting/financial reporting within insurance or public practice, and fluent English. Hybrid work arrangement and global exposure are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 4-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting within insurance or public accounting.
• Familiarity with IFRS 17/PSAK 117, or related accounting and reporting processes.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations and controls.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills coordinating with departments and regional stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Prepare recurring accounting and financial reporting deliverables.
• Complete IFRS 17/PSAK 117 entries, closing schedules, analyses, and reporting packages.
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Perform financial control activities over data and reporting; retain evidence and address gaps.
• Coordinate external audit requirements with timely information and documentation.
• Coordinate resolution of IFRS 17 accounting and reporting issues with stakeholders.
• Monitor monthly balance sheet reconciliations and aging of items.
