Job summary

Manulife is seeking an IFRS 17 accounting professional in Jakarta to manage recurring financial reporting and close processes for the insurance business. You will prepare entries, reconciliations, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and regional requirements.

The role requires 4–5 years of relevant experience, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate with accounting, actuarial, and regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 4–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience in the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with IFRS 17/PSAK 117.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS 17/PSAK 117 accounting entries, closing schedules, supporting analyses, and reporting packages.
• Maintain account reconciliations and validate data accuracy against sub-ledgers and system reports.
• Perform financial control activities to ensure completeness, accuracy, authorization, and traceability of accounting data and outputs.
• Support external audits with audit-ready working papers, reconcilations, and documentation.
