Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a seasoned Project Lead (Data Centre) in Jakarta to direct end-to-end delivery of hyperscale data center developments. You will manage site selection, design, construction, commissioning, and handover, coordinating internal teams, consultants, and vendors to hit milestones on time and within budget.

The role requires a strong track record in mission-critical facilities, leadership experience, and a passion for safety, quality, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or data center projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successful mission critical facility project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of hyperscale and greenfield data center projects—from site selection and design through construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams including internal staff, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Champion safety, quality, and sustainability standards across all phases of development.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, permitting requirements, and environmental standards.
• Project closure: final review of project’s financial performance, document lessons learned regarding financial management for future project.
