Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Project Procurement Engineer to lead procurement strategy for complex industrial projects based in Jakarta. You will drive supplier qualification, bid analysis, risk management and cross-functional collaboration to optimize total cost of acquisition, schedule adherence and procurement performance across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with 5+ years' procurement experience in industrial automation or EPC.
• Experience with sub-contracting, supplier selection and bid analysis.
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contracts, and international sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive project procurement strategy to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Lead procurement activities per project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare the Project Procurement Plan and Execution Strategy with PMs.
• Identify key suppliers and framework agreements for competitive pricing.
• Manage RFQs, bid evaluations, and commercial recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, trade, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive digital tools adoption and expediting across supply chains.
