ABB Indonesia’s Process Industries Division is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee local unit operations, including project management, manufacturing, maintenance, procurement, quality, logistics and planning. You will lead project teams, drive policy improvements, and ensure strict health, safety and integrity standards across the organization.

• Master or bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution; Accredited qualification in Business Management is added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of total engineering and project management experience, at least 5 years in senior project management role.
• Strong Leadership and business management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid professional with proven success in delivering complex solutions in Process Industries, including Automation Systems, Electrical, E-house, Digital Solutions.
• Experience in delivering Large Projects in Process industries will be required.
• Experience in Pulp & Paper, Mining industry in the South East Asia will be preferred.
• Intimate knowledge of solutions bundling (Process Electrification, Large Ehouses, Automation Systems, Field Instruments, Power Management System).

Responsabilidades

• Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals. Coaches and provides performance feedback for project staff.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of policies and work instructions by adopting external best practices and findings from lessons learned. Actively seeks both internal improvement opportunities and external project management practices with relevance to ABB and influences the organization to continuously improve project execution. Actively participates in and contributes to internal and external expert groups, e.g. project management councils and other forums.
• Leads project recovery efforts, i.e. the rapid assessment of troubled projects and their turnaround on behalf of the Local Division.
