Job summary

Cloud Kinetics is seeking an L2 Cloud Engineer to own escalated incidents and day-to-day engineering across our hybrid cloud landscape (AWS, GCP, Azure, and private VMware/OpenShift). The role requires on-site work in a 24/7 shift rotation and collaboration with multiple teams to resolve P1/P2 incidents, perform RCA, and automate with Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation.

You will mentor L1 engineers, participate in change management (CAB), and ensure secure, reliable cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in informatics, CS, IS or related field.
• 3–5 years in cloud, infrastructure or data center operations.
• 2+ years hands-on with public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and multi-cloud understanding.
• Hands-on Terraform and Ansible; knowledge of AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter and OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Strong networking fundamentals and Linux administration.
• Experience with Git and scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Familiar with ITIL incident, problem and change processes.
• Willing to work on-site in rotating shifts; good Indonesian/English communication.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of escalated incidents and resolve within SLA.
• Lead shift troubleshooting for P1/P2 incidents with cross-team coordination.
• Perform RCA and write post-incident reports with corrective actions.
• Plan and implement changes per CAB with rollback plans.
• Escalate to L3/architects with complete technical evidence.
• Administer AWS/GCP/Azure compute, storage, networking and IAM services.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, backup, DR and high-availability configurations.
• Tune monitoring and logging; reduce alert noise and apply security best practices.
• Build and maintain Terraform modules and CloudFormation templates.
• Write Ansible playbooks; manage IaC in Git and state management.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and detect configuration drift.
• Operate VMware and Red Hat OpenShift; manage patching and capacity.
• Lead on shift and coach L1 engineers; improve runbooks and SOPs.
