PaxOcean is seeking a Hull Assistant Manager to lead hull treatment activities for NB and ship repair projects. You will plan, allocate resources, monitor performance, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to meet milestones and commercial objectives.

The role requires 7–10 years in hull treatment in shipyards, strong English communication, and the ability to quantify hull work. You will manage budgets, drive safety improvements, and contribute to staff development.

Competenze

• Min 7-10 yrs shipyard experience in hull treatment asst manager.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Able to estimate vessel hull, tanks and structure in Cumtr and quantify work.
• Must be able to coordinate with multiple subcontractors and plan activities.

Mansioni

• Oversee and manage all hull treatment activities onboard NB and ship repair vessels.
• Ensure proper delegation and control of manpower and resources for optimum productivity.
• Monitor welfare and identify training needs of department personnel.
• Conduct performance appraisals of department personnel.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, environmental, and OHS standards.
• Plan and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity.
• Develop and maintain a succession plan within the department.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies, clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Ensure milestones, targets and budgets are achieved through planning and logistics.
• Evaluate performance of consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Provide technical inputs to Commercial and Purchasing departments.
• Submit monthly reports and manage budget.
