Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist in Indonesia to deliver high-quality HR services across payroll administration, employee benefits, training, HR operations, records management, reporting, and compliance.
You will partner with leaders to support business outcomes in a fast-paced industrial setting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related fields, a minimum of 3 years’ generalist HR experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law, and expertise in HRIS and benefits

Responsibilities
- Support monthly payroll processing and payroll-related administration.
- Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance to employees.
- Manage training records and compliance documentation.
- Support employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, promotions, transfers, contract changes, and offboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
- Prepare HR reports, workforce metrics, and analytics.
- Provide advice and support on HR operational matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Indonesian employment legislation.

The HR Generalist will play a key role in delivering high-quality HR services across payroll administration, employee benefits, training and development, HR operations, employee records management, reporting, and compliance.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian employment laws and HR practices.
- Experience supporting leaders
- Employee relations and performance management experience.
- Recruitment and talent acquisition experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, mining, rail, or industrial environments.
- Experience supporting both blue-collar and white-collar workforces.
- Compensation and benefits administration experience.
- Experience using HRIS systems.
