MBV Group is seeking its first strategic HR hire to build the people side of growth. Based at the Jakarta HQ, you will report to the CEO and work closely with Business Partners and outlet leadership.
Payroll is already covered; you will set up the organizational structure and HR processes for multi-brand expansion. You will design org structure, grading, KPI frameworks, and manpower plans for new store openings, while driving compliance with Indonesian labor laws and labor regulations.
About us
MBV Group is a house of F&B brands, from specialty coffee (Gould Coffee, ATME Coffee) to a 250+ outlet franchise network (Xiboba, Xiyue, Goldang, Matchakiya and more). We build brands, scale them, and get them ready for their next stage. Several new store openings are coming in the next 12 months, and we need someone to build the people side of that growth.
The role
You’ll be the first strategic HR hire at group level, working directly with our CEO, Business Partners, and outlet leadership. Payroll and BPJS admin are already covered. Your job is to set up the structure the organization runs on.
What you’ll own
Org design: structure, job descriptions, and job grading for HQ and outlet roles, including staffing models by store size
Manpower planning: headcount plans for every new opening, so crew, kitchen, and outlet leads are in place on time and on budget
People metrics: a monthly dashboard per outlet covering headcount against revenue, overtime, turnover, and time-to-hire, reviewed with Business Partners
Performance and retention: KPI frameworks for outlet and HQ roles; find out why frontline staff leave and fix it
Policies and compliance: company regulations (PP), PKWT/PKWTT contracts, and alignment with UU Cipta Kerja and PP 35/2021
Talent pipeline: clear paths from crew to shift lead to outlet manager, so we promote from within as we scale
What we’re looking for
4–7 years in HR, with at least 2 years in HRBP or Organization Development
Multi-outlet F&B, hospitality, or retail experience is a must (e.g. Ismaya, Hiro, Arka, Boga, coffee chains)
You’ve built things, not only run them: an org structure, a job grading system, a KPI framework, or a manpower plan for store openings
Working knowledge of Indonesian labor law; you’ve handled ER cases and terminations properly
Comfortable with numbers: you can build a labor cost view in Excel or Sheets
Hands-on: as comfortable in a CEO meeting as at an outlet during the morning shift
Build the HR function of a growing multi-brand group from the ground up
Direct exposure to the CEO and the group’s growth decisions
Room to grow as the HR team expands
Reports to: CEO
Location: Jakarta HQ + regular outlet visits
