Job summary

Belalu Bali Boutique & SPA experience is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our on-site role at our 5-star boutique resort in Ubud, Bali. The successful candidate will maintain villa cleanliness, handle daily linen changes, and support guest satisfaction within a premium setting.

The position requires 3+ years in housekeeping in hotel/boutique environments, strong attention to detail, and flexibility for varying shifts. English fluency is highly desirable, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in housekeeping within a hotel, resort or boutique setting.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Physical fitness to lift, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent time management and reliability in daily schedules.
• Fluency in English is highly desirable.

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join the team at Belalu Bali Boutique & SPA experience - 5* resort in Ubud, Bali. This is a full-time position based on-site at our luxurious boutique property. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the exceptional standards of cleanliness, comfort and hospitality that our guests expect from our premium establishment in our 3 Exclusive villas.

Key responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining guest villas to the highest standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising all surfaces
• Changing bed linens, towels and other textiles daily, ensuring they are fresh, properly folded and well-presented
• Restocking guest amenities, toiletries and supplies in a timely and organised manner
• Performing deep cleaning of our villas and common areas on a scheduled basis, including bathrooms, mirrors and fixtures
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of public spaces, including lobbies, dining areas and relaxation zones
• Responding promptly to guest requests and special cleaning requirements with professionalism and courtesy
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages or safety concerns to management immediately
• Using cleaning equipment and chemical products safely and responsibly, following all health and safety guidelines
• Working collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure seamless operations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in housekeeping within a hotel, resort or boutique hospitality setting minimum 3 years
• Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and meet daily cleaning schedules
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and the safe handling of cleaning products and equipment
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons and weekends as required
• Fluency in English is highly desirable - must; additional languages are advantageous
• Certification in housekeeping or hospitality is a plus, though not essential if you have relevant experience
