About the role

Apple Villa Management is seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervisor Housekeeping to join our team in Badung, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and guest satisfaction across our properties. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will oversee daily operations, lead and motivate your team, and ensure that every guest enjoys an immaculate and welcoming environment. This role is essential to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and maintaining our reputation for excellence in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, including scheduling, task allocation and performance monitoring
• Conduct daily inspections of rooms, public areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
• Train housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols and guest service standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, including ordering and cost control
• Respond promptly to guest complaints and maintenance issues related to housekeeping services
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and timely room turnovers
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, staffing and supply usage
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Foster a positive team environment and support staff development and training initiatives

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar supervisory role in a hospitality setting, preferably in a hotel or villa management environment
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards and best practices
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness and quality standards
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
• Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties and walk through properties regularly
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene regulations relevant to the hospitality industry
• Reliability and punctuality with a professional work ethic
