Job summary

PT Delonix Group Indonesia in Jakarta is seeking a motivated Business Development professional to identify and develop new hotel expansion opportunities, including existing hotels, commercial buildings, or houses suitable for conversion.

You will conduct field surveys, assess market demand, zoning, and financial viability; build networks with property owners, brokers, and local authorities; and collaborate with internal teams to craft clear proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in business development, property acquisition, or site scouting (hospitality or real estate preferred).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Strong field orientation—on-site surveys and direct stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical thinking skills.
• Energetic, proactive, and resilient; stays motivated in challenging situations.
• Able to multitask, work independently, and manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Willing to travel frequently across Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and recommend potential properties or land for hotel expansion (existing hotels or convertible buildings).
• Conduct detailed site and area surveys to assess potential, accessibility, and neighborhood dynamics.
• Evaluate property suitability for conversion into hospitality assets based on market demand, zoning, and financial viability.
• Build and maintain a strong network with property owners, brokers, and local authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess business and operational feasibility of each opportunity.
• Prepare clear and compelling business proposals, reports, and presentations.
• Stay updated on market trends, local developments, and real estate regulations.
