Job summary

AccorHotels Indonesia is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the Engineering Department with a focus on safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. You will drive preventive maintenance, energy management, and major projects while coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of hotel systems, and the ability to manage budgets and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant hotel engineering experience.
• Experience as Chief Engineer / Director of Engineering / Engineering Manager preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems and energy management.
• Excellent leadership and people-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Engineering Department ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Develop and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Manage energy and utility consumption with cost-control mindset.
• Oversee budgeting, CAPEX, contractor management and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety and environmental standards.
• Mentor and develop the Engineering team and define performance objectives.
• Lead and coordinate renovation and major engineering projects.
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain high guest comfort levels.
