Job summary

Marriott International is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to support the Director of Engineering in Bali. You will help manage the budget, oversee preventive maintenance, and ensure energy conservation across the property.

You will supervise repair work orders, maintain safety standards, and lead staff training to improve guest and employee satisfaction while protecting assets and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major; 2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises distribution of repair work orders and monitors timeliness and quality of completion.
• Maintains property standards and administers policies fairly and consistently.
• Assists in planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensures open, collaborative communication with employees and staff.
• Oversees engineering and related departments in the absence of the Director of Engineering.
