Job summary

Mercure Serpong Alam Sutera is seeking a hotel maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair works across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The role requires basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing knowledge and a willingness to work shifts, including weekends and on-call duty.

Candidate should have a high school or technical/vocational diploma in engineering or a related field, with good guest‑facing communication and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school or technical/vocational diploma in engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair works in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Respond promptly to guests’ maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist in routine inspections of equipment, machinery, and hotel facilities.
• Support senior technicians/engineers in major repair projects.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly handled and stored.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
