Job summary

PT Commeasure Solutions Indonesia seeks a senior hotel facilities engineer to oversee building facilities, MEP systems, and preventive maintenance for a hotel portfolio in Jakarta. You will ensure safety, reliability, and compliance while managing CAPEX/OPEX for facility improvements and asset replacements.

The role requires 7+ years in hospitality engineering (hotels or similar properties) and a strong background in MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of engineering/facility management experience, preferably in hotels or commercial buildings.
• Hospitality engineering experience in 3-4 star or above hotels is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire & life safety.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance, audits, contractors, and facility improvement projects.
• Good understanding of building safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong technical problem-solving, project management, and vendor management skills.

Job description

Manage and oversee hotel building facilities, engineering systems, and preventive maintenance across the portfolio.

Ensure reliability and quality of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems and other critical hotel facilities.

Develop preventive and corrective maintenance standards, schedules, and monitoring systems.

Conduct regular facility inspections and engineering quality audits across properties.

Ensure hotel facilities meet required safety, operational, and quality standards.

Monitor engineering-related CAPEX/OPEX and recommend facility improvements or asset replacement when required.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, property teams, and project teams for maintenance, renovation, and new hotel openings.

The engineering team will also be involved in the acquisition due diligence process to assess the required investment and technical condition of potential properties.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.

Minimum 7 years of engineering/facility management experience, preferably within hotels, serviced apartments, malls, or commercial buildings.

Hospitality engineering experience in 3-4 star or above hotels is highly preferred.

Strong technical knowledge of MEP, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire & life safety, and building facilities.

Experience managing preventive maintenance, engineering audits, contractors, and facility improvement projects, renovation, BOQ, CAPEX, utilities, and hotel asset management.

Good understanding of building safety and regulatory compliance.

Strong technical problem-solving, project management, and vendor management skills.
