Job summary

Kalbe Group in Indonesia seeks an Engineering Technician to join the Hotels team for full-time maintenance of hotel systems. You will ensure safe operation of power, water, gas, heating, and cooling equipment, inspect records, and support preventive maintenance and energy efficiency initiatives.

You will assist the engineering department in daily tasks, coordinate with the maintenance team for events, and conduct generator tests to guarantee reliability during power interruptions.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow staff rules and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and record keeping.
• Basic understanding of building services systems (power, water, gas, HVAC).
• Willingness to perform regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Comfort with energy management and efficiency improvements.
• Team player able to support ceremonies and events.
• Ability to perform generator tests during power outages.
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Compliance: Strictly follow staff rules, regulations, and management commands for safe operation of equipment.
• Operational Management: Ensure normal operation of power, water, gas, heating, and cooling systems in the hotel.
• Record Keeping: Inspect operation records and shift handover records accurately and promptly.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities under your jurisdiction.
• Energy Management: Save energy and control consumption, implementing efficiency measures.
• Event Support: Support maintenance for banquets and meetings; ensure related equipment functions.
• Emergency Preparedness: Regularly test the generator to ensure power during outages.
• Fire Safety Supervision: Supervise fire prevention works and address violations.
