Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• 1 year minimum experience in a maintenance/engineering role in hospitality or building operations.
• Knowledge of hotel maintenance systems and facilities operations.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance and energy efficiency practices.
• Understanding health, safety, and environmental compliance standards.
• Budgeting, cost control, and operational reporting basics.
• Strong leadership potential to supervise and coordinate teams.
• Good problem-solving, decision-making and organizational skills.
• Customer-service mindset with responsibility and quality orientation.
• Good Indonesian communication skills; English is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily engineering and maintenance operations.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure systems run efficiently.
• Coordinate and monitor external contractors and service providers.
• Support maintenance projects, repairs, and capital improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with technical, legal, and safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain engineering data and reports (e.g., CMMS, utilities).
• Control inventory of tools, materials, and spare parts.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes.
• Assist in leading, training, and supervising the engineering team.
• Ensure hotel facilities are well-maintained to support guest comfort and operations.
