Job summary

Siloam International Hospitals (Siloam) invites a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the live hospital facilities and infrastructure. You will coordinate the Maintenance section’s activities, supervise staff, and drive quality and safety programs in line with management policies.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and at least four years of hospital maintenance experience. Strong building systems knowledge and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) from Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years experience in the Maintenance field, preferably in a hospital.
• Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and repair techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and maintain organized records.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and hospital administration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the operational activities of the Maintenance section to ensure equipment is suitable for hospital use.
• Coordinate all operational activities in Maintenance including supervision, staffing, and quality/safety programs as per management policies.
• Oversee routine inspections, procurement, repairs and replacement of tools and machines for Maintenance needs.
• Evaluate hospital vendors and suppliers to maintain quality of products and services.
• Monitor maintenance and calibration activities to ensure instruments are ready for use.
