Job summary

Siloam Hospitals Simatupang in South Jakarta is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability of medical facilities and related infrastructure. The role requires performing preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrating equipment, and generating routine operation reports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of hospital engineering experience, with familiarity in medical electronic systems and testing tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 1 year minimum experience in engineering, preferably in a hospital environment.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, and installation of medical electronic equipment preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of medical electronic systems, including schematics, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and instruments used for testing and repairing medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair of existing medical facilities and infrastructure in the hospital environment in accordance with established standards.
• Carrying out maintenance, repair, replacement and calibration activities for medical facilities and infrastructure according to schedule using preventive and corrective maintenance programs and correct methods/regulations.
• Collect required data and/or make reports related to operational activities as accountability to superiors and other related parties.
• Carry out routine checks and documentation of the condition and function of medical facilities and infrastructure to ensure maintenance standards are achieved, implemented and maintained.
• Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets.
• Fill out daily logsheets regularly for designated areasnt.
