Job summary

PT Alpha Magsaysay International seeks a clinical support staff to assist the medical team with non-specialized tasks and basic patient care. You will take specimens, perform point-of-care tests, and help with patient hygiene and mobility under supervision.

Role involves recording patient history, allergies and visit purpose, and providing patient education on medications and device use. This position is on-site to support a busy clinical team.

Qualifications

• Assist medical team with non-specialized clinical tasks.
• Record patient details, medical history, allergies and visit purpose.
• Take specimens such as blood, urine and nasal swabs (COVID-19/Influenza).
• Process point-of-care tests and operate related equipment.
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities and patient hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians in basic patient care and safety.
• Perform basic triage and verify patient information.
• Educate patients on medications and device use.
• Assist with ECGs under medical supervision.

Job description

• Effectively supports medical team with non-specialized clinical tasks
• Performs basic triage, verification of patient details, recording medical history, allergies, and purpose of visit.
• Assists the medical team in basic patient care, including but not limited to:
• a. Taking specimens such as blood, urine and nasal samples including for COVID-19 and Influenza
• b. Processing point-of-care (POC) tests, and operating point of care laboratory equipmentc. Phlebotomy
• d. Urinalysis
• f. Assisting with moving patients, personal hygiene tasks and activities of daily living such as bathing andfeeding
• g. Patient education including medication and use of mobility devices
• h. Performing ECG’s under medical supervision
