Job summary

Glints is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to work with the editorial team to turn health information and expert insights into engaging content across digital platforms. You will plan, create and publish content, including videos, graphics and interactive formats, while exploring new formats to educate and engage a broad audience.

Qualifications

• Relevant education or professional experience in communications, media, digital media, content creation, marketing, journalism, design or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Work with editorial to turn health topics into engaging content for social media, website and other digital platforms.
• Plan content calendars and campaigns aligned with priorities and audience interests.
• Identify angles and storytelling opportunities from health topics.
• Develop concepts for social posts, carousels, graphics, short-form videos, interactive content.
• Write captions, headlines, hooks, and short-form copy to communicate key messages.
• Create visual content to simplify health information for a general audience.
• Develop video content from concept to execution, including scripting and editing.
• Adapt content formats for different social media platforms and rollout content to increase awareness and traffic.
• Monitor performance and use insights to improve future content.
• Ensure accuracy and responsible communication when translating health information.
• Publish content with consistent tone and brand presentation.
• Contribute ideas for new topics, campaigns and formats.
