Job summary

DyStar in Central Java, Indonesia seeks an experienced Health & Safety Supervisor to lead inspections, ensure workplace compliance with safety standards, and drive safety initiatives across plant operations.

The role requires at least 5 years of HSE experience, a Health & Safety degree, strong leadership and supervisory abilities, and proficient English communication. You will coordinate with engineering, manage PPE controls, and promote a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Health & Safety.
• At least 5 years of experience organizing, supervising, and executing Health & Safety Plant Operations.
• Deep understanding of health and safety regulations and ability to identify hazards and improve safety conditions.
• Able to operate a computer and communicate in English.
• Excellent interpersonal, supervisory, and leadership skills with ability to distribute workloads to meet safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills for addressing safety concerns and implementing solutions.
• General work and process safety training for supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Regularly inspects the workplace to identify hazards and ensure safety compliance.
• Supports compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.
• Organizes and manages safety programs and follow-up actions on audits and safety walks.
• Participates in process safety management discussions and hazard reviews.
• Coaches workers to improve occupational health and safety behaviors.
• Identifies, inspects, and controls PPE requirements and maintains PPE stock.
