Job summary

Royal Lestari Utama is seeking a Safety & Compliance Officer to lead safety management on site, ensure regulatory adherence, and supervise incident investigations. The role involves auditing documents for audits and preparing safety reports.

The candidate will conduct inspections, trainings, and drills for operators while liaising with government bodies to ensure SMK3 compliance at the plantation site in Jambi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in K3 (SHE), Public Health or related field.
• Certification in Environment and K3 is required.
• Experience in Plantation industry is preferable.
• Strong analytical skills for incident investigations and excellent communication for training delivery.
• Knowledge of local safety regulations.
• Willing to be placed on Site Tebo, Jambi; employee housing is provided on site.

• Responsible for Safety management, reporting to government (P2K3), and monitoring the implementation according to the regulation (SMK3).
• Manage safety for activity on site
• Lead the investigation if any incident occurred
• Assisting the completeness of documents and fields for suitability audits
• Prepare mandatory reports related to the safety
• Conduct inspections of operational activities and workers related to the safety
• Conduct training and drill for safety management to operators

Requirement:

• Minimum Bachelor of K3 (SHE), Public Health or any related field
• Having experience in Plantation industry would be preferable
• Having certification in Environment and K3 is a must
• Strong analytical skills for incident investigation and excellent communication skills for training delivery
• Understand local regulation regarding safety
• Supervise third-party contractors to ensure their equipment and work methods meet the company’s safety standards
• Fluent in English both written and verbal, would be preferable
• Willing to be placed on Site Tebo, Jambi (Employee housing is provided on site).
