Job summary

KantorKu is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Officer to join our mining operations in West Java. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS programs, conducting audits, and delivering staff training to foster a strong safety culture across sites in Bogor and Bekasi.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with national and international EHS standards, manage incidents and risk assessments, and maintain rigorous EHS records and reporting for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS role within the mining or heavy industry sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian EHS regulations and best practices.
• Certification such as NEBOSH, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct thorough risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and training facilitation skills.

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Organize and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of staff.
• Monitor environmental impact, ensuring compliance with permits and regulations related to emissions, waste, and water management.
• Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare regular reports for management and regulatory bodies.
