About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head Retail to lead our retail operations across multiple sites in Jakarta Raya. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst maintaining strategic oversight of our retail network. As Head Retail, you will be responsible for driving retail performance, ensuring operational excellence, and implementing strategic initiatives across all our retail locations. This role is pivotal to achieving our business objectives and maintaining our competitive advantage in the retail and consumer products sector.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the performance and operations of multiple retail sites across Jakarta Raya, ensuring consistent brand standards and customer service excellence
• Develop and implement retail strategies to drive sales growth, profitability, and market share expansion
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across the retail network
• Recruit, train, mentor, and manage retail teams, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting staff development
• Manage budgets, inventory control, and stock allocation across all retail locations
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with operational staff to ensure effective communication and execution of retail directives
• Conduct regular store visits and audits to assess compliance with company policies, visual merchandising standards, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of campaigns and product launches
• Address customer feedback and operational challenges, implementing solutions to enhance the retail experience
• Report on retail performance to senior leadership and present recommendations for strategic improvements

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in retail management, ideally managing multiple sites or a large retail operation
• Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and point-of-sale systems
• Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop retail teams
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and achieve financial targets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in using data and KPIs to inform decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Good knowledge in Football/Soccer
• Knowledge of the Jakarta Raya retail market and consumer trends would be advantageous
• Proficiency in retail management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Flexibility and resilience in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
• Degree in business management, retail management, or a related field is preferred
