Job summary

IBMC, a business management consulting firm, is assisting its sister company in hiring a strategic and technical Head of WordPress Development. Based in Indonesia with remote flexibility, you will lead a talented WordPress team to deliver secure, high‑performing web solutions for international clients.

You will own architecture decisions, drive CI/CD adoption, mentor engineers, and translate client needs into clear technical roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8 years of WordPress development experience.
• At least 3 years in leadership or managerial role.
• Expert knowledge of WordPress architecture, performance optimization, and custom plugin/theme development.
• Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and managing staging-to-production environments.
• Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to international clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison with clients, gathering requirements and aligning expectations with delivery.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance web projects, managing resources, timelines, and quality.
• Provide expert guidance on systems architecture, scalability, and backend/frontend integration for financial platforms.
• Modernize development processes, including deployment (CI/CD), version control (Git), and automated testing.
• Lead rigorous reviews of deliverables to ensure adherence to global best practices.
• Foster growth within the development team through structured code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

You will act as the primary bridge between international client needs and technical execution. Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical international clients.
• Language: Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken) is mandatory.
