Job summary

Wirehire in Jakarta is seeking a Dept Head - Investment Associate to lead analysis and execution of infrastructure and technology investments. You will oversee diligence, build financial models, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities.

This role reports to senior leadership and involves portfolio optimization and strategic project work. The candidate will perform market analysis, financial modeling, and valuation, with responsibilities spanning from initial screening

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or CFA is a plus.
• 3–5 years of relevant investment experience.
• Experience in the digital infrastructure sector is preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and evaluation of business cases for new investments, M&A, partnerships, and strategic projects
• Conduct feasibility studies, market and competitive analysis, and financial due diligence on potential investment opportunities
• Build and maintain financial models and perform valuation analysis to support internal decision-making
• Prepare internal reports and presentations for senior leadership and board-level review
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, legal, operations, engineering) to evaluate strategic fit and operational implications of investments
• Assist in the execution of transactions, including data gathering, internal coordination, and documentation
• Monitor and report on the performance of existing investments and identify opportunities for optimization or expansion
• Track trends in digital infrastructure and other relevant sectors to support long-term strategic planning
