Job summary

Hertz Flavors Makmur Indonesia is seeking a Head of HR to lead the Indonesian HR function, joining the local leadership team. You will modernize and elevate operations, design scalable, automated processes, and implement talent management strategies aligned with Arethia’s growth objectives.

You will empower the team, build data-driven HR practices, ensure compliance with local law, deliver trainings, and partner with managers on performance reviews, workforce planning, and leadership development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in HR, talent management and organisational design.
• Experience leading a team in a global company with international work practices.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian HR practices and local employment law, incl. payroll, contracting, onboarding and offboarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the local HR team, ensuring high-quality execution.
• Overhaul manual HR practices and build scalable, automated processes using Jira and Confluence.
• Align local HR processes with global policies, including career progression framework, benefits, and learning & development.
• Develop reporting capabilities to support senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure processes, SOPs, and Ways of Working follow local employment law.
• Develop efficient payroll processes in compliance with local regulations.
• Foster a culture of inclusion, confidentiality, and trust in HR.
• Provide live trainings in local language on HR topics.
• Guide managers on performance reviews, workforce design, and hiring needs.
• Lead local manager training and quarterly workshops on people leadership and talent development.
• Develop an HR strategy aligned with company vision and business needs.
