Job summary

Indosat seeks a Head of Home Business Performance & Insights to lead annual planning for FTTH and FWA, deliver financial outlooks, and evaluate business cases driving profitable growth. You will coordinate cross-functional inputs and prepare management and shareholder materials with clear insights for executive decisions.

The role requires 7+ years in finance or planning, advanced Excel/PowerPoint, and strong investment appraisal and scenario analysis skills in telecoms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• At least seven years of experience in business planning, commercial finance, investment analysis, or consulting.
• Proven experience leading annual budgets, AOP development, and periodic financial forecasts.
• Strong financial modelling, investment appraisal, cash flow analysis, NPV/IRR, and scenario assessment.

Responsibilities

• Lead AOP for FTTH and FWA with targets for subscribers, revenue, costs, CapEx, profitability and cash flow.
• Lead financial outlooks (3+9, 6+6, 9+3) and explain variances against AOP.
• Develop business cases for FTTH rollout and partnerships; assess take-up, returns, and capital efficiency.
• Evaluate FWA investment and models; align capacity, demand, and deployment readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs and prepare shareholder and management reports with insights.
• Oversee performance against plans and drive corrective actions with owners.

Head of Home Business Performance & Insights

Description:

Role Purpose

Lead FTTH and FWA annual operating planning, financial outlooks, and business case evaluation, providing clear analysis for VP review and supporting management and shareholder decisions on profitable growth and investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for FTTH and FWA, aligning subscriber, revenue, operating cost, CapEx, profitability, and cash flow targets with business strategy and execution plans.
• Lead periodic financial outlooks, including 3+9, 6+6, and 9+3 forecasts, incorporating actual performance, updated assumptions, risks, and opportunities; explain variances against the AOP and recommend actions to close gaps.
• Lead business case development and investment appraisal for FTTH rollout and partnerships, assessing home-pass potential, take-up rates, contractual commitments, financial returns, and capital efficiency.
• Evaluate FWA investment and commercial models, aligning network capacity, customer demand, device lifecycle costs, and deployment readiness; oversee scenario and sensitivity analyses across FTTH and FWA.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs and prepare shareholder presentations, management reports, responses to stakeholder inquiries, and ad hoc analyses, ensuring clear insights and recommendations for VP review before submission.
• Oversee performance against approved plans and business cases, drive corrective actions with business owners, maintain planning and investment governance, and guide the Senior Officer’s work.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least seven years of relevant experience in business planning, commercial finance, investment analysis, or consulting, including experience leading projects or analytical teams.
• Proven experience leading annual budgets, AOP development, and periodic financial forecasts.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, investment appraisal, cash flow analysis, NPV, IRR, and scenario assessment.
• Experience evaluating telecommunications or broadband investments, with an understanding of FTTH and FWA business models and economics.
• Proven ability to challenge assumptions, align cross-functional stakeholders, and translate complex analysis into clear management and shareholder presentations.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and business communication skills.
• Experience using AI tools to support financial analysis, market research, scenario modelling, and presentation preparation is an added advantage, with the ability to independently validate outputs and protect confidential business data.
