Job summary

WPP Media seeks an experienced finance professional to oversee the closing process and balance sheet reporting in Jakarta. You will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, prepare journal entries, and ensure timely group reporting.

The role emphasizes SOX controls, intercompany reconciliations, and ongoing process improvements while coaching the finance team. The candidate will coordinate with regional teams, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure PSAK-compliant financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with intercompany reconciliations and group reporting.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance requirements.
• Ability to coach and develop team members.
• Experience in financial systems and reporting templates.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Ensure timely submission of management and group reporting packages.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and closing adjustments.
• Monitor closing timelines and coordinate with stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Review P&L and Balance Sheet for accuracy before submission.
• Conduct variance analysis against budget/forecast and prior periods.
• Reconcile General Ledger balances with management reporting schedules.
