The successful candidate combines strong technical finance expertise with leadership, delivering hands-on support in a growing, multi-site environment and partnering with management to improve financial performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-6 years of Finance & Accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in education, hospitality, services, property, or other operationally intensive industries is preferred.
• Proven experience managing and developing Finance & Accounting teams.
• Willingness to be based in Batam.
• Mandarin or Hokkien language capability is required/preferred due to stakeholder and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Finance & Accounting function.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Manage P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision‑making.
• Develop and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, taxation, and general accounting functions.
• Partner with management and operational teams to improve financial performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor performance against budgets and provide variance analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounting team.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, systems, and internal controls.
