Job summary

PT.Bank Maybank Syariah Indonesia is seeking a seasoned IT Development Leader to oversee system development, resource planning, and delivery of applications that support the head office business. You will manage budgets, manpower, hardware, software, and licensing, and coordinate outsourcing if needed.

The role requires extensive hands-on programming experience in Java and Go, strong Agile/Scrum leadership, and a track record in the financial services sector.

Qualifications

• Min 10 years in IT development.
• Min 5 years in team leadership.
• Min 5 years in the financial industry.
• Experience with Java and Golang programming.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Manage development and maintenance of applications supporting HO business.
• Plan budget, manpower, hardware, software or license requirements and resource allocation in application development.
• Responsible for fulfilling manpower including pro hire or outsourcing vendors.
• Involved in recruiting, assessing test logic results, and interviewing prospective candidates.
• Build relationships/partnerships with IT product or outsourcing vendors locally and non-locally.
• Conduct vendor assessment and evaluation (technical, portfolio and resources).
• Determine the competency matrix in the department.
• Provide coaching, mentoring and disciplinary guidance for staff development.
• Periodically perform PDCA with the internal team (Weekly).
• Build good relationships with subordinates and provide support and appreciation for their work.
• Respond to issues or obstacles beyond subordinates' capacity.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the area of development and maintenance of each application used to support the HO business.
• Planning for budget, manpower, training, hardware, software or license requirements and resource allocation as needed in application development.
• Responsible for fulfilling man power, be it pro hire or collaboration with outsourcing vendors.
• Involved in recruiting, assessing test logic results, and interviewing prospective candidates.
• Building relationships/partnerships with vendors providing IT products or resources (outsourcing) both locally and non-locally.
• Conduct vendor assessment and evaluation (both technically, portfolio and number of resources).
• Determine the matrix competencies in the department.
• Provide individual challenges (Coaching, Mentoring and disciplining employees) for individual self-development.
• Periodically conduct PDCA with the internal team (Weekly).
• Building good relationships with subordinates, as well as providing support and appreciation for individuals and their work.
• Responding to an issue or obstacle that cannot be handled by the subordinate.
