Job summary

PT Orange Inovasi Digital in Jakarta Selatan is hiring a backend engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs to support business and product requirements.

The role requires collaboration with Product, Frontend, QA and stakeholders, writing clean, scalable code and participating in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives, using MySQL/PostgreSQL and Git in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of backend development or software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, Node.js, Python, or PHP.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic design principles.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs

Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and basic database design principles

Understanding of version control systems such as Git
