PT SURYA SEMESTA INTERNUSA TBK seeks an senior Energy Leader to develop and implement the company's energy strategy, including the design of electricity distribution and renewable solutions. The role requires extensive leadership experience and a track record in power systems and utility projects, based in Subang, West Java.

You will oversee energy planning, regulatory compliance, and relationships with PLN, regulators, and tenants while driving cost-efficient investments and energy transition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Power or Energy Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in power, electricity, energy, utilities, or industrial infrastructure sectors.
• 5+ years in senior leadership/management dealing with energy, power or electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with electricity distribution, power systems, generation and utility infrastructure.
• Experience with PLN, WILUS, IPP, or major industrial customers is preferred.
• Experience in industrial estates or large-scale facilities is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of energy, electricity safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and team development ability.
• Exposure to renewable energy, PV, smart grid or energy transition projects is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Develop and establish the Energy strategy, roadmap, and business model aligned with long-term objectives.
• Plan, design, and develop electricity distribution system and energy infrastructure for reliable power supply.
• Develop and implement renewable energy solutions, including PV systems, compliant with standards.
• Manage energy supply and operations, including PLN integration and smart grid concepts.
• Lead risk management and maintenance programs to ensure energy continuity.
• Plan and evaluate energy-related projects, CAPEX, investments, and budgets.
• Build relationships with PLN, regulators, government authorities, partners, and tenants on technical and regulatory matters.
• Build and develop the Energy team with governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Description du poste

• Develop and establish the Energy strategy, roadmap, and business model in alignment with the Company's long-term business objectives and industrial estate development plans.
• Plan, design, and develop the Company's electricity distribution system, network, and energy infrastructure to ensure reliable and scalable power supply.
• Develop and implement renewable energy solutions, including PV systems, in compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and sustainability objectives.
• Manage and optimize energy supply and operations, including the integration and balancing of PLN supply and the Company's internal power systems, utilizing smart grid concepts where applicable.
• Develop energy demand and capacity planning, taking into consideration future industrial estate expansion, tenant requirements, and long-term power needs.
• Lead risk management, preventive and corrective maintenance, and reliability programs to minimize operational risks and ensure continuity of energy supply.
• Lead the planning and evaluation of energy-related projects, CAPEX, investments, and budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and alignment with business priorities
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with PLN, regulators, government authorities, strategic partners, and key tenants on technical, operational, commercial, and regulatory matters.
• Build and develop the Energy team while establishing effective operational standards, KPIs, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, in power, electricity, energy, utilities, industrial infrastructure, or related sectors,
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership/managerial position with responsibility for energy, power, utilities, or electrical infrastructure.
• Proven experience in electricity distribution, power systems, power generation, and utility infrastructure.
• Experience working with PLN, WILUS, IPP, utility providers, or major industrial customers is highly preferred.
• Experience in industrial estate, large-scale industrial facilities, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of applicable energy, electricity, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Preferably having exposure to renewable energy, PV, smart grid, or energy transition initiatives.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism, with strong commitment to ethical business practices and sound corporate governance.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with strong decision-making capabilities based on sound analysis, data, and business considerations.
• Willing to be based in Subang, West Java.
