Job summary

Boost Indonesia is seeking an experienced Head of Data to lead and scale its end-to-end data ecosystem in Jakarta. You will own data strategy, architecture, analytics, and governance to enable data-driven decisions across lending and consumer products.

You will build and mentor a high-performing data team and partner with executives to drive revenue growth, risk optimization, and operational efficiency through advanced analytics, dashboards, and trusted data platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Data, Analytics, Data Engineering, or Data Science.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing data teams.
• Experience in fintech or financial services is preferred.
• Strong understanding of consumer and SME lending domains.
• Proven track record building and scaling data functions from scratch.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting and compliance in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's data strategy and roadmap with business alignment.
• Build and lead a high-performing data team across Engineers, BI Analysts, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive data-driven decision-making and performance insights.
• Lead Advanced Analytics and Data Science, including credit risk scoring and fraud detection.
• Develop BI dashboards and reporting frameworks for portfolio performance and customer metrics.
• Oversee data engineering and architecture across warehouses, lakes, and pipelines.
• Ensure data governance, quality, lineage, and security compliance.
