PT Kiwoom Sekuritas Indonesia is seeking a Head of Compliance to lead the company’s compliance function and ensure adherence to OJK, IDX, and related authorities. The role involves developing policies, conducting risk assessments, and driving regulatory reporting across business units.
The incumbent will oversee regulatory examinations, monitor developments, and advise the Board on regulatory requirements and potential risks, fostering a strong governance culture.
Head of Compliance responsible for leading and overseeing the Compliance function to ensure the Company's activities comply with OJK, IDX, KSEI, KPEI, APU PPT, and other applicable regulations within the financial services or capital market industry.
Key responsibilities
Lead and oversee the Compliance function to ensure the Company's activities comply with OJK, IDX, KSEI, KPEI, APU PPT, and other applicable regulations.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Company's compliance framework, policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
Conduct compliance risk assessments, regulatory gap analysis, and compliance monitoring to identify and mitigate potential regulatory risks.
Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely implementation of new or amended regulations across relevant business units.
Ensure the accuracy and timely submission of regulatory reports, notifications, and other regulatory requirements to OJK, IDX, and other relevant authorities.
Provide compliance advice and recommendations to the Board of Directors, senior management, and business units regarding regulatory requirements, new products, business initiatives, and potential compliance risks.
Coordinate regulatory examinations, inspections, inquiries, and follow-up actions, including monitoring the implementation of corrective action plans.
Lead and develop the Compliance team and promote a strong culture of compliance, integrity, and regulatory awareness throughout the Company.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or related functions within the financial services or capital market industry, with managerial experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian capital market regulations, including OJK, IDX, KSEI, KPEI, and other applicable regulations.
Strong understanding of APU PPT/AML-CFT, compliance risk management, corporate governance, and internal control.
Possess a valid WPPE/WPEE license and relevant Compliance Certification (Sertifikasi Kepatuhan) as required by applicable regulations.
Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, monitoring programs, and regulatory reporting.
Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with high integrity and professional ethics.
Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills in both Indonesian and English.
Ability to effectively liaise with senior management, regulators, and internal/external stakeholders.

Since starting its business in Indonesia since December 1995 in a joint type of firm between Korea and Indonesia, Dongsuh Securities (DS) became under wholly control of a locally domiciled Korean company named PT. In the wake of Kiwoom’s dominant presence in KSI, its paid-in capital was increased in October 2010 to around 69 billion IDR from 43.5 billion IDR.
