Job summary

NH KORINDO SEKURITAS INDONESIA seeks a Head of Research to lead and grow the research team, oversee equity and market analyses, and publish timely, high-quality reports for clients. You will mentor analysts, maintain coverage across sectors, and ensure compliance with regulations while coordinating with sales and investment banking teams.

The role requires a strong background in fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and valuation, plus excellent English and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in equity or investment research or capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian capital market, listed companies, macroeconomics and trends.
• Proven ability to prepare and present professional reports and recommendations.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-management skills.
• Leadership and multitasking abilities.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Capital-market license or relevant certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Research Team with clear priorities and standards.
• Maintain coverage of listed companies, sectors, and market developments.
• Review reports for accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
• Perform fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and valuations.
• Prepare and present company, sector, and market outlooks and stock ideas.
• Present insights to institutional and retail clients on request.
• Engage clients through meetings and outreach activities.
• Coordinate with Sales, Equity, IB, Marketing, and other divisions on research-based products.
• Build and maintain relationships with listed companies, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with OJK, IDX regulations and internal policies.

Job description

Lead, manage, and develop the Research Team, including setting research priorities, coverage targets, and performance standards.

Maintain both team and personal coverage of listed companies, sectors, and relevant market developments.

Review and ensure the accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and overall quality of research reports prepared by subordinate analysts.

Conduct fundamental analysis, financial modeling, company valuation, industry analysis, and macroeconomic research.

Prepare high-quality company reports, sectoral reports, quarterly outlooks, market updates, stock recommendations, and presentation materials.

Present research insights and investment views to institutional and retail clients regularly or upon request.

Provide clients with timely and relevant updates on market developments, listed companies, sectors, and investment opportunities.

Maintain active and high-quality engagement with clients through meetings, presentations, communication channels, and other outreach activities.

Coordinate with Sales, Equity, Investment Banking, Marketing, and other relevant divisions in developing research-based products and client outreach programs.

Develop and maintain professional relationships with listed companies, industry participants, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders.

Ensure all research activities and publications comply with applicable OJK and IDX regulations, internal policies, research ethics, confidentiality, and conflict-of-interest requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.

Minimum 10 years of experience in equity research, investment research, capital markets, or a related field, including experience in supervising or leading a team.

Strong knowledge of the Indonesian capital market, listed companies, macroeconomic conditions, and industry trends.

Strong proficiency in fundamental analysis, financial modeling, and company valuation methodologies.

Proven ability to prepare and present professional research reports, market outlooks, and investment recommendations.

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and client-management skills.

Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Proficiency in Bloomberg, Refinitiv/Eikon, or other financial databases is an advantage.

An active and valid capital-market license or other relevant professional certification will be mandatory
