Job summary

Meditap in Indonesia seeks a Head of Collection, Claims Payment, & Tax to lead the Finance & Tax team. You will oversee collections, AR/AP, tax compliance, and financial reporting, ensuring timely processing and accuracy across our healthcare administration services.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Tax, 5+ years in Finance & Tax with supervisory experience, and strong Excel skills; knowledge of healthcare/insurance TPAs is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Tax, with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of Tax Compliance, AR, AP, financial reporting, and finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance & Tax team to ensure daily operations and departmental objectives.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders for cross-functional projects.
• Oversee Tax Compliance, AR/AP processes, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain strong business acumen to analyze financial information and advise on decisions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancements, and automation.

Job description

Head of Collection, Claims Payment, & Tax

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Tax, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong knowledge and practical experience in Tax Compliance, Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), financial reporting, and finance operations.

Good understanding of applicable tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Brevet A & B certification is preferred.

Experience in healthcare, insurance, TPA, or a similar industry will be an advantage.

Requirements

Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills, with a high level of accuracy and accountability.

Able to lead, supervise, and develop the Finance & Tax team, ensuring effective execution of daily operations and achievement of departmental objectives.

Able to coordinate and collaborate effectively with internal departments, auditors, tax consultants, and other external stakeholders, including for cross-functional projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced) and familiar with accounting/finance systems or other relevant business applications.

Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial information and provide recommendations to support business decisions.

Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancement, and automation.

Excellent communication skills, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Understands and/or has experience handling sensitive and confidential information in accordance with applicable information security policies and procedures.
