Job summary

You’ll work on regional finance projects across multiple ASEAN markets and collaborate with the FAT Manager to improve processes and templates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or Finance.
• Preferably 0–3 years of experience in accounting or tax.
• Experience at a tax consulting firm or public accounting firm (KAP) is a plus.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Project coordination: Keep the project plan, trackers and risk log up to date.
• Follow up with task owners across teams to keep deadlines on track, and escalate blockers early.
• Prepare meeting notes, action lists and weekly progress updates for the FAT Manager.
• Accounting foundations: Map the group chart of accounts to each local chart; draft, organise and maintain the accounting policy.
• Roll out the month-end close checklist and the reconciliation register across all entities, and track completion each month.
• Multi-country tax: Research and summarise tax rules in each country; maintain the tax matrix, tax calendar and tax document register.
• New market openings: Prepare checklist for each new entity or market; track until everything is ready before the first invoice.
• Process improvement: Propose and build practical improvements to templates, controls and workflows.
• Unlock job insights: Improve hiring data and salary matching processes.

FAT Assistant focuses on building strong accounting and tax foundations, supporting expansion into new markets, and improving how the finance team works. Rather than routine day-to-day operations, the role is project-focused, covering areas such as accounting policies, financial controls, tax research, and new market setup. You'll get exposure to accounting and tax across multiple ASEAN markets while working directly on regional finance projects.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or Finance.

Preferably 0–3 years of experience in accounting or tax.

Experience at a tax consulting firm or public accounting firm (KAP) is a plus.

Good written and spoken English.

QUALIFICATIONS

Solid accounting basics and working knowledge of IFRS/PSAK.

Basic understanding of Indonesian tax

Eager to learn tax rules in other ASEAN countries.

Advanced Excel skills: lookups, pivot tables, nested formulas and multi-sheet models.

Organised, detail-oriented and a fast learner.

Interest in process and system improvement.

Track the checklist until everything is ready before the first invoice.

Process improvement

Propose and build practical improvements to templates, controls and workflows.
