Job summary

Tiga Kawan Kopitiam in Tangerang, Indonesia, is seeking a friendly and efficient Waiter / Service Staff to deliver fast, clean, and professional service from greeting to payment, ensuring smooth table turnover.

You will greet guests, present menus, take accurate orders, coordinate with kitchen and cashier, upsell where appropriate, keep dining areas tidy, and handle guest requests with courtesy according to our standards.

Qualifications

• Understand all food & beverage menu items, including basic composition, spice levels, and allergen information.
• Able to take complete and accurate orders and enter them into the POS system correctly.
• Able to verify food and beverage accuracy and completeness before serving.
• Able to provide menu recommendations and perform upselling and cross-selling actively without being pushy.
• Maintain personal hygiene and keep uniform clean.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time according to shift schedule and attend pre-operational briefing.
• Prepare dining areas (indoor and outdoor), tables, chairs, and service stations for opening.
• Greet guests with friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism according to service standards.
• Present menus, explain favourites and promotions, and take accurate orders.
• Enter orders into the POS system and coordinate with cashier for billing.
• Collect ready orders from kitchen/bar and serve to guests at correct tables.
• Monitor table conditions, check guest satisfaction, and clear used plates and glasses.
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas and reset tables for next guests.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, cashier, and cleaning staff regarding status and challenges.
