Job summary

Qoala is seeking a Growth Strategy Lead to bridge strategy and execution across Sales, Product and Insurance Placement teams in Jakarta. You will own high-impact growth initiatives, analyze market trends, and optimize processes, driving AI-enabled efficiency and new opportunities.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate insights into actionable plans in a fast-paced insurtech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in growth strategy or similar roles in an insurtech, fintech, or tech-driven company, preferably from Tier 2-3 consulting or business development.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and market research.
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can drive projects to completion across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset, able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance products (Property and Personal Lines) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with AVP of Growth to develop OKRs for product insurance and lead high-impact growth initiatives from ideation through execution and post-launch evaluation.
• Leverage complex data to conduct deep-dive analyses on market trends, funnel conversion, and drop-off points to inform strategic planning and monitor success metrics.
• Identify bottlenecks with Insurance Placement and Operations teams and redesign business processes for maximum efficiency, including AI adoption.
• Collaborate with Product/Tech to iterate on dashboards and placement tools to meet commercial needs.
• Partner with Sales to craft localized strategies, gather customer feedback, and refine go-to-market approaches.
• Act as strategic anchor for incubating new business opportunities and provide executive-level feedback for scaling or pivoting.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Product, Data and Marketing and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of strategic initiatives.
